This Chiaroscuro LP features the great swing pianist Teddy Wilson playing relaxed versions of 13 Rodgers & Hart compositions. Since virtually all of these songs were longtime standards, Wilson was quite familiar with most of them including such tunes as "Thou Swell," "You Took Advantage of Me," "Where or When" and "The Lady Is a Tramp." It is doubtful if either Richard Rodgers or Lorenz Hart would have objected to these respectful and lightly swinging renditions.
